How Lunatix works
Fans buy and sell concert tickets at prices they set. We hold the money until after the show.
Buying tickets
- 1
Pick a price
Buy now at the lowest price, or name your price. You see the most you'll pay, card processing included, before you commit.
- 2
Pay, and we hold it
You pay when you buy. The seller doesn't get the money until after the show.
- 3
The seller transfers your tickets
They arrive by Ticketmaster transfer, to the Ticketmaster email you give us the first time you buy. Sellers have 24 hours, or until showtime if that comes first.
- 4
Confirm. The seller is paid after the show.
Accept the transfer in Ticketmaster, then tap Confirm on Lunatix. If the tickets never arrive or something looks wrong, report it instead and you get a full refund.
Why offers need a saved card: an offer is a real order. The moment a seller matches it, your card is charged and the tickets are yours.
Selling tickets
- 1
List at your price
Takes about a minute. The lowest price sells first, and you always sell at your price, so list at what you want to get.
- 2
Transfer within 24 hours
When your tickets sell, we show you the buyer's transfer email. Send them through Ticketmaster and mark them sent. Inside the last day it's by showtime. Miss the window and the order cancels and the buyer is refunded.
- 3
Get paid after the show
Your payout goes out the day after the show, through Stripe. The first time, Stripe takes about two minutes to set up. You keep every dollar.
Common questions
Are the tickets real?
We only list shows whose tickets can be transferred on Ticketmaster, and tickets move through Ticketmaster's own transfer into your account. If they don't arrive, you get a full refund.
Is the price I see the price I pay?
Yes. Buy now shows your exact total, and offers show the most you'll pay, before you commit.
Are there fees?
No service fees. Card processing is shown in your total before you commit, and sellers keep every dollar of their price.
What if the seller never sends my tickets?
Sellers have 24 hours, or until showtime if that comes first. If the transfer doesn't happen, the order cancels and you get a full refund. You don't have to chase anyone.
What if the show is canceled or moved?
Canceled: every order is refunded in full to the card, automatically. The refund comes from us, not Ticketmaster. Postponed or rescheduled: your tickets are good for the new date, and there's no refund for a date change.
What if I forget to confirm?
We remind you by email one and two days after the seller sends your tickets. After three days the order confirms on its own, so a seller is never stuck waiting. The seller still isn't paid until after the show, and you can report a problem right up until the payout goes out.
Who sees my name?
Only your first name and last initial. The seller matched with your order also sees your Ticketmaster email, because that's where the tickets go. Your login email stays private.
Can I buy or sell fewer tickets than an order asks for?
Only when that side allows it. Orders go through at exact quantities unless a buyer chooses to accept fewer (with a minimum they set) or a seller chooses to split a group (with a smallest sale they set). Each part is its own order, transfer and charge; whatever is still open keeps looking until it goes through or you cancel it.
Can I cancel an offer or a listing?
Yes, any time before it goes through, from My Tickets. Once it goes through it's a real purchase, and the refund guarantee above applies.
Which shows are on Lunatix?
General admission shows that Ticketmaster can transfer, for now. If yours isn't here, tell us and we'll add it.
